Just when you think it can’t get any worse….it does. Laura Goldman tweeted just moments ago that defensive end Cedric Thornton will miss the next two games due to sustaining a hand injury. According to Bleeding Green Nation, a source has reported that Thornton could miss a further seven days.

Without Thornton, the Eagles will turn their eyes to both Taylor Hart and the now luckily versatile Vinny Curry. Curry has been moved around a lot lately, experimenting in roles as a linebacker..but his attentions will now surely be placed back on the DE front whilst he covers for Thornton.
