The Philadelphia Flyers announced the arrival of a brand new mascot today. Gritty will be present at all home games and the general reaction was probably a little bit different to what the team had hoped. The orange and clad fans took to social media to voice their confusion, disagreement and even upset. But this is Philadelphia and after all this is a mascot designed to bring a fun element to games for the younger generation.
