The Eagles held their second and final fan attended practice at Lincoln Financial field today, in no less than 35,000 of Philadelphia’s die-hards. The atmosphere was electric, but who kept the current flowing onto the turf? Here’s all you need to know.

In and out:
After the preseason opener, there were a few knocks and bruises that had to be accounted for. The main name to note is Sidney Jones, who was practicing today after suffering a scary ankle sprain against Pittsburgh. What could be deemed a simple ‘rest day’ for many, it’s worth keeping an eye on Pumphrey, who also missed Thursday’s game.

Zach Ertz also returned to action today and overall, the Eagles seem to be close to a clean bill of health.

Wentz progress:
The face of the franchise was put through his paces at the Linc today and although he was held out of 11-on-11, continued to show promising signs.

It’s all about patience for both Wentz and the Eagles and it’s paying dividends. Is a week one return on the cards? it still may be a little too soon to say, but they’re moving in the right direction.

Back with a bang:
After missing some practice time and the preseason opener last week, Ertz hit the ground running today, literally.

The ceiling of the #GoedErtz tandem is just terrifying at this point.

Super Jake Elliott:
The Eagles kicker has had a quiet camp, but that doesn’t mean it’s been a bad one. Elliott has been ‘money’ all offseason long.

No cause for concern here. The former UDFA has been in fine form and the Eagles may finally have found their long-term answer at kicker.

Shelly’s breakout:
Just days after recording his first ever NFL touchdown pass, Gibson wow’d fans again. It seems as though the WVU standout is very much licking his lips ahead of the upcoming season, with confidence flowing through him at an alarming rate.

It’s going to be a lot of fun watching Gibson head into the preseason clash against New England with his level of confidence within himself.

Seumalo’s struggle:
One Eagle who has struggled all offseason has been Isaac Seumalo. The versatile lineman has been moved to center behind Jason Kelce, but it hasn’t been an easy transition. In fact, Seumalo is still sailing snaps over quarterback heads as he did on Thursday.

This has to be a mental issue and hopefully one that Jeff Stoutland can help iron out. Either way, things have got to being looking up for Seumalo if his tenure in Philly is to last longer than one more season.

Still got it:
Mike Wallace has long-been one of the NFL’s premier deep-threat’s and today he showed 35,000 fans in attendance that he hasn’t lost a step.

Wallace is the perfect replacement for Torrey Smith and is undoubtedly going to add a lot of value to Pederson’s offense.
