According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapport & Mike Garafolo, newly signed Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley has been arrested after an incident on Sunday morning.

Information is scarce right now but this doesn’t look good for Worley or the Super Bowl champions. The former Carolina Panther was traded to the Eagles earlier in the offseason and with such a low cap hit, it will be very interesting to see how the team approach this. Viewed as a candidate to replace Patrick Robinson, this will not do the young cornerback any favors.

For the Eagles, this marks the second arrest of the offseason. Michael Bennet’s Super Bowl 51 incident attracted national attention just a few weeks ago and now the team have a second arrest on their hands for a violent incident. For a team that was able to go through an entire season without a single off-the-field incident, this is worrying to say the least with two new additions both catching the wrong kind of attention.

This is a developing story and we will be bringing you up to date as soon as more details are made available.
