The Eagles have released their second injury report of the week ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Atlanta Falcons. Here’s everything you need to know.

Limited Participation in Practice

Wednesday

LB Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring), CB Sidney Jones (hamstring)

Full Participation in Practice

Wednesday

The main thing to note here is that all 53 players on the active roster participated in practice. This includes veteran linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, who missed yesterday’s session with a hamstring injury. While still on the injury report, Ellerbe worked through individual drills and was listed as ‘limited’ on Wednesday. The Eagles run defense will receive a huge boost if Ellerbe is able to play, especially after two very strong outings.

Secondly, Sidney Jones was also limited with a hamstring injury. It’s not yet known whether Jones will be active on playoff game days after the team activated him for Week 17 so he could make his Eagles debut. The rookie cornerback will benefit from some extended practices with the team and it’s still encouraging that he did participate to begin with. Even if he is sidelined on Saturday, it was a likely scenario to begin with.
