The Philadelphia Flyers are back to their winning ways after defeating the New York Islanders last night. What’s more striking is the orange and black have to build off this victory. They can ill afford to remain inconsistent with winning one game and losing the next.
With the Flyers one game shy of the halfway mark of the season. One area of their game that needs to become more consistent is secondary scoring. It’s not a time to panic just yet. However, over the next course of the week we might have to call 911 for an emergency if things don’t improve. Without further delay here are our answers to your questions.
At what point, if any, do you think Hak wakes up has a talk with Hexy and calls up the likes of Lindblom, Martell and/or Vecchione? #Flyersmail

Kerry thanks so much for your support. Especially from a passionate diehard fan like yourself. With the call up of Tyrell Goulbourne it appears that’s not far off the horizon. If the Flyers continue down this free fall, then it may happen sooner rather than later. I was hoping Vecchione or Danick Martel would have been the first call-up, but at least someone was called up in place of Jori Lehtera. We shall see how this turns out for Goulbourne, but it appears Ron Hextall is leaning towards the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for a spark plug.
Didn’t know you were doing this .My question would be , how is Patrick’s skating coming along ?

Steve or should I call you the Swami? Your the best when it comes picking NHL games. Your very knowledgeable in the sport of hockey. With that being said Nolan Patrick has looked really good this past week. He has been sharp in many areas.
His skating is back pre-injury. Patrick has the wheels again, and its helping his confidence. Hence, the behind the back pass on the goal by Ivan Provorov last night against the Islanders. I’m looking for him to have a monster second half of the season. I think whatever rattled him after the concussion is in the past.
