Kelly confirms Tebow won’t move position as Kinne moves to wideout

Chip Kelly is often seen as a mad scientist. When we heard Tebow was making his way into the nest, there was an abundance of wild reactions with many wondering if he would move to a Tight End position..or for that matter, anywhere on the field..this is Tebow we’re talking about…and Kelly.

Today, that question was answered. “He’s a quarterback,” Kelly emphasised in an interview with NFL reporters earlier. “That’s how we’re looking at Timmy. We’re not looking at him at any other position.”

The head coach also said the Eagles always planned to pick up a fourth passer, but didn’t feel drawn to any of this year’s draft-eligible signal-callers or free agents.

But whilst Tebow stays, there is one quarterback will be changing positions. G.J. Kinne has been moved to wideout according to Chip.

The big Tebow talking point has been his ability to convert two pointers. With the new rule in place, many regard him as a weapon, but Kelly went out of his way to slash the league’s new extra-point rule that sees kicks being taken from the 15 yard line.

So there you have it ladies and gentleman, it’s Tebow time.
